The Caribbean island of Nevis is rewriting the rules for global iGaming. This new jurisdiction can seriously compete with Tier 1 locations without the typical high costs or long waits.

ABOUT US
Regardless of the type of license you need, you must provide a set of corporate and KYC (Know Your Customer) policies, an organizational chart to clarify the company structure, and a business plan with financial projections for the next 3 years.
Since the regulator grants gaming licenses only to companies registered on the island, the set of corporate documents must be notarized and include the following papers:
KYC documents include:
To obtain a B2C license, you have to appoint a Compliance officer and Reporting officer, as well as gather financial statements, compliant terms and conditions, KYC (Know Your Customer), Responsible Gaming, AML (Anti-Money Laundering), and Underage Gaming policies, copies of independent RNG testing certificates, copies of content provider agreements for all gaming systems and games used, and supporting documents to verify SOF (Source of Funds) and SOW (Source of Wealth), and GEO IP blocking implemented to several jurisdictions, including Austria, the UK, the USA, and FATF-blocked countries.
The set of documents for a B2B license is similar with exceptions for KYB (Know Your Business) policy, B2B draft agreements, and supporting documents to verify SOF and SOW required.
The amount of paperwork you need to provide is quite large. Every single document requires formal certification by a lawyer, accountant, or notary within the last 90 days. Each document must be certified as a “true copy of the original”. The certifier’s signature must be original (no electronic signatures are accepted), and it must be dated.
This extensive paperwork is going to take a lot of time to gather and process. MGL can help you speed up the assembly of this required document package. Your only responsibility is to provide the KYC documents for all Ultimate Beneficial Owners (UBOs), directors, and shareholders. We will handle all the remaining policies and required paperwork. We can also assist you with appointing a Compliance Officer.

The B2C license in Nevis is designed for online casinos, sportsbooks, and other online gambling sites that offer their services directly to players worldwide. This license is renewable annually, with applicable renewal fees.
To obtain this license, the applicant must comply with all strict requirements set in Nevis, such as implementing AML and KYC, Responsible Gaming policies, and ensuring a fair game through certified random number generators (RNG).
Applicants do not need to obtain a license only for online casinos or sportsbooks. One B2C license in Nevis covers all online gambling activities, so you do not need to get a separate permission for each vertical.
Getting licensed in Nevis means becoming part of a reputable regulatory framework, enhancing credibility of your brand with clients and partners, a factor necessary for long-term business growth.
The B2B license in Nevis is designed for B2B operators that support platforms, white-label providers, game studios, software suppliers, and other gaming software providers. Like a B2C license, the B2B one is renewable annually with applicable renewal fees.
While applicants for B2C licenses should pass KYC, B2B operators pass KYB (Know Your Business) checking. In general, the procedure is similar to KYC, but it applies to companies, not individuals.
The license in Nevis ensures providers meet strict compliance requirements and fair play standards, which are “green flags” for partners and the whole industry.
Nevis is one of the most cost-effective jurisdictions in the world. The island offers a comprehensive legal framework with potential to reach Tier 1 for cheaper prices.
Both B2B and B2C licenses are available for €28,000. This one-time payment covers 2 URLs on default, a public registry listing, and an interactive seal. Licensees have to renew their license annually, paying a renewal fee of €28,000.
Any change will cost more — €1,000 for due diligence on a new UBO, director, or shareholder, and €5,000 for material change in ownership.
The base license lets you use two domains. For anything beyond that, there’s a fee of about €750 per domain. Each sub-domain submitted under the license up to 49 costs €35, while 50 or more costs €15.
Speaking about taxation, Nevis offers a 0% tax rate on a company's income received outside Saint Kitts and Nevis. There is also no direct tax on gambling income and no capital gains taxes. Furthermore, VAT is also not applied to income from offshore gambling.
To get a license in Nevis, you first need to register a company on the island. After that, you must prepare a large package of documents and submit your application to NOGA (the regulatory body). Next, all directors, shareholders, and UBOs must successfully pass a due diligence review conducted by the regulator. Once the due diligence is successful, NOGA will forward your file to the Minister of Finance, who will make the final decision on granting the license to your company.
Generally, the licensing process takes two to three months once the operator submits the complete application package. Separately, registering the company itself takes about five to seven days.
The tax system is the island’s main advantage because it offers a 0% tax rate on income earned outside the country. Furthermore, there are no taxes on capital gains or any other direct taxes on gaming operations.
Yes, operators must renew their license every year by paying €28,000.
No, you cannot transfer your Nevis gambling license to another jurisdiction. The license is issued to a specific legal entity registered in Nevis and is valid only under the local law. If the operator wants to operate under a license of another jurisdiction, they will need to go through the full licensing process in this new country.
The license holder is required to submit annual financial statements to NOGA. These reports must then be kept at the registered office in Nevis for at least five years. Operators must also submit Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Counter-Financing of Terrorism (CFT) reports. This reporting includes continuously monitoring all transactions and players.
Nevis has an established reputation for international business. Its legal system, based on English common law, allows for the formation of different types of companies and trusts with minimal public disclosure requirements.
A Nevis Gambling License lets operators serve customers worldwide, but they must avoid specific restricted countries. These areas include the USA, UK, France, Germany, Austria, Spain, Australia, the Netherlands, St. Kitts & Nevis itself, and all countries currently on the FATF blacklist.
